What is Partner Yoga?
Partner yoga is a practice where two people assist each other through different yoga poses. It involves trust and mutual support from both practitioners. With the help of your partner, stretching and balancing will be easier. Relying on each other throughout the practice will deepen your connection, help you to stay focused and present, and improve your coordination.
Partner Yoga vs. Acro Yoga
What is the difference between partner yoga and acro yoga? – Partner yoga is about building connection, supporting each other in simple poses and relaxing together. It’s great for all levels, especially beginners. Acro yoga is more physical, combining yoga, acrobatics and balance. Usually one person lifts or balances the other, which makes it more challenging and strength-based. While acro yoga is dynamic and intense, partner yoga focuses more on mindfulness and bonding.
Who is Partner Yoga for?

Partner yoga is a wonderful way to connect to your partner, build trust and improve your communication. You will tune into each others’ breathing rhythms and carefully listen to each others’ bodies throughout the practice. Your team spirit will grow as create joyful moments between the two of you. It doesn’t matter how much experience either of you have with yoga. It’s a fun way to bond and grow closer while doing something good for yourselves.
Friends
Grab a friend and try partner yoga to stay active and connect in a playful way. You can help each other balance, build trust and improve your coordination while having fun. Wether you’re beginners or long time yogis, it’s a great way to support each other, unwind and enjoy some time together.
Individuals
Don’t be shy to join solo! Partner yoga is a great way to connect with others and grow personally. You will learn to communicate, build trust and collaborate with your partner in each pose. It’s perfect if you’re looking for meaningful interactions while training your body and mind in a supportive and fun environment.
How to join by yourself:
1. Sign up
When you register, indicate that you’re attending solo and need a partner. We’ll try to match you with someone before the class.
2. Wait for matching
If the number of participants is already even, you may be placed on a waitlist until we can pair you with someone.
3. Confirm Your Spot
Once you’ve been matched, you’ll receive a notification. You will need to confirm your spot to finalise your place in the class.
4. Attend the Class
Once you confirm, we’ll send a final message with all the information you need, so you’re ready to attend the class and meet your partner.
